Soprano Eva Liebau studied at the Konservatorium Klagenfurt and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz. She has been the recipient of the Leopold Figl Culture Prize, and was awarded First Prize at the Belvedere Competition, Vienna, and has worked with conductors such as Christian Thielemann, Riccardo Chailly and Sir John Eliot Gardiner.

From 2004 to 2012 she was a member of Opernhaus Zürich, and in 2006 made her debut at the Salzburg Festival in Le nozze di Figaro with Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
