Born in Bratislava, Luba Orgonášová studied piano and singing at the conservatory and the music academy in her hometown. She started her career in Germany, in 1988 she joined the Wiener Volksoper and subsequently debuted at the Wiener Staatsoper. In 1990 she made her Salzburg Festival début as Marzelline in Beethoven’s Fidelio conducted by Kurt Masur.

After her outstanding début as Konstanzein Mozart’s Die Entführung aus dem Serail in Paris in 1990 Luba Orgonášová was invited to sing at the most prestigious opera houses and festivals in Barcelona, Berlin, Chicago, Hamburg, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Salzburg, Vienna and Zurich.
