In pianist Eduard Stan, a Romanian soul is united with musical sensitivity grown on German spiritual ground. Born in 1967 in multicultural Brasov (Romania), he began his musical training at the municipal music school of his home town. In 1978 he emigrated with his family to West Germany. Here he completed his musical studies at the Hanover College of Music and Theater with such renowned personalities as Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Martin Dörrie, and Arie Vardi.
