Born in Mendoza in Argentina, Ricardo Mirabelli has dual Argentine and Italian citizenship. Graduating in this city, he went on to study with Luigi Alva, Rockwell Blake and Franca Mattiucci in Italy. Awards include second prize in the Alfredo Kraus Competition in 2002.

In his career he has sung in major opera houses throughout Italy, including La Scala, Milan, La Fenice in Venice and in theatres of similar distinction, collaborating with renowned conductors and directors. His recordings include performances with the Rossini Festival in Wildbad for Naxos. International engagements have included appearances in South America, the Far East and throughout Europe.
