After obtaining her singing diploma from the Conservatory of Bari in 1999, the soprano Natalizia Carone undertook masterclasses with S. Ganassi, E. Mei, T. Tramonti, M. Pertusi, L. D'Intino, L. Serra, T. Fabbricini, K. Ricciarelli, S. Baleani, P. Barbacini, R. De Candia, A. Antoniozzi and E. Battaglia. She made her début in 2003 at the Teatro del Fuoco in Foggia, in La prova di un'opera seria (Violante) by Gnocco, under the baton of F. Santi and the direction of F. Esposito. In 2005 she sang in Cazzaniga's Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira) at Vicenza's Teatro Olimpico, with G. B. Rigon conducting and F. Esposito directing, and was Giulietta in I Capuleti e i Montecchi by Bellini, with P. Mianiti on the podium and C. Mazzavillani Muti directing, a production staged in Como, Brescia, Pavia and Lucca. Her rôle in Marcella marked her début at the Festival della Valle d'Itria.
