The alto Gerhild Romberger’s main areas of interest are song recitals which cover a wide range of styles. Her extensive repertoire includes all the important alto and mezzo parts of oratorios and works from the Baroque period to the Classical, and the Romantic era up to the music of the 20th century. She performs together with renowned orchestras in prestigious concert halls all over the world.

Gerhild Romberger lives with her family in Detmold and is a professor of vocal studies at the Detmold College of Music.
