Winner of various awards since completing his studies at the Conservatoire de Nîmes, the baritone Marc Barrard has appeared at theatres including La Scala, Milan, the Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires, the Liceu, Barcelona and the Deutsche Oper, Berlin. In Paris he has sung Golaud in Pelléas et Mélisande. Other rôles include Valentin (Faust), Nevers (Les Huguenots), Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and Mercutio (Roméo et Juliette), as well as Germont (La Traviata), Capulet (Roméo et Juliette) and the Count (Le nozze di Figaro).
