Noam Zur has been principal guest conductor of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra since 2016, and was music director of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Salta in Argentina from 2017 to 2020. He has held music director positions in Germany, Croatia and Argentina, and from 2006 to 2008 he was the assistant to Pierre Boulez.
His repertoire spans symphonies, operas and ballets from the 18th to the 21st centuries. Zur is also in demand as a composer and orchestrator, with his works being performed in Germany, Israel, Mexico, Argentina, Romania and the Netherlands, as well as being recorded for radio. He regularly appears in major concert venues in the US, Israel, South Africa, Latin America and Europe, alongside conducting opera productions in Germany, Austria, Israel, Romania and Latin America.
In addition to his composing and conducting career, Zur is also an active educator, having been engaged as a guest professor in Israel, Argentina, Mexico, Romania and Germany.
