Georgian mezzo-soprano Ketevan Kemoklidze studied at the Tblisi State Conservatory and Academy of Teatro alla Scala, the winner of prestigious international voice competitions including P. Domingo’s Operalia, Barcelona’s, Toulouse’s, Belvedere’s, E. Obraztsova’s and Georgian National competitions. In 2002 she made her début as Maddalena in Rigoletto in Tbilisi.

She has already appeared successfully at many of the world’s leading opera houses including Teatro alla Scala, Barcelona Gran Teatre del Liceu, Washington National Opera, Teatro Real Madrid, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro la Fenice, Oper Graz, Teatro Reggio di Torino, Opéra Municipal de Marseille, Teatro Municipal de Santiago, Oper Leipzig, Theater Basel, Wexford Opera, Megaron of Thessaloniki. She collaborates with distinguished conductors and directors.

Kemoklidze is also an actress. She performed in a rôle of Adriana Ferrarese (Donna Elvira) in Carlos Saura’s film Io Don Giovanni, having won a special prize at Toronto and Rome Film International Festivals.
