After gaining a DEA diploma in management science at the University of Strasbourg, Christian Moungoungou pursued his musical training in Alsace and then in Lyon.
Opera roles have included Goro in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Festival d’Opera Opus Gattières, Dandini in La Cenerentola at the Île-de-France Festival and on tour, and Burschen in Carl Orff’s Der Mond at the Opéra Bastille.
He was instrumental in the creation of and regularly performs with chamber group the Grazioso Ensemble, and has a wide concert repertoire as a soloist. Since September 2005 Moungoungou has been a tenured member of the Paris Opéra Chorus.
