Claudia Urru made her debut in 2015 in the role of Carolina in Il matrimonio segreto, and the following year she appeared as Despina in Così fan tutte in Cagliari.

In 2018 she was awarded a scholarship to the Renato Bruson Academy in Busseto, and later that year studied with Paoletta Marrocu, Tiziana Fabbricini and Federico Longhi at the Coccia Theatre Academy in Novara.

She has sung in many international opera houses such as Cagliari, Monte Carlo, Bergamo and Muscat. In 2019, she participated in the Pesaro Accademia Rossiniana ‘Alberto Zedda’, singing Madama Cortese (also in 2020) and studying with Ernesto Palacio, Alfonso Antoniozzi and Juan Diego Flórez.

In 2020 she won First Prize at the International Vocal Competition ‘Valerio Gentile’.
