Mexican baritone Emmanuel Franco made his debut at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe in Le nozze di Figaro.

A resident artist at the Opéra Studio of the Opéra national du Rhin, he has worked with numerous eminent conductors and performed across Europe, appearing in Rossini’s L’equivoco stravagante at Rossini in Wildbad. Franco studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Dutch National Opera Academy.

Other engagements include Il barbiere di Siviglia with Tijuana Opera and his debut with Wexford Festival Opera. He recorded Aliprando in Matilde di Shabran, was Macacco in I tre gobbi by García in Kraków/Bad Wildbad and Dandini in Teatro Coccia as well as Germano in Verona.
