In 2016, Elsa Dreisig was awarded First Prize for Best Female Singer in Plácido Domingo’s Operalia, The World Opera Competition, and was named Young Artist of the Year by Opernwelt magazine, winning Young Opera Artist of the Year at the Copenhagen Opera Festival in 2017.
Dreisig studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris and the Leipzig Musikhochschule, and studied under Lionel Sarrazin. As a member of the Berlin State Opera she performed in Die Zauberflöte and Orfeo ed Euridice among many others. She has also appeared at the Opéra National de Paris, Zurich Opera and the Festival d’Aix-en Provence. Elsa Dreisig is a recording atist under Erato/Warner Classics.
