The Italian mezzo-soprano Cecilia Molinari was born in Riva del Garda (Trento), where she began her musical studies as a flautist. In 2009, she began studying voice at the Conservatory of Music in Padua, where she graduated with the highest honours. In 2015, she made her operatic debut in Il Turco in Italia (Zaida) in Treviso and Ferrara. Soon after her apprenticeship at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro, she started her international career singing Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Trieste.
Among her most recent engagements, she has sung Annio (La clemenza di Tito) in Antwerp, and Landi’s La morte di Orfeo (Primo Euretto, Nisa, Lincastro and Euridice) in Amsterdam.
