The countertenor and bass, Igor Durlovski, studied at the University of Skopje (Macedonia), in Sofia with Olivera Miljakovic and in Rome with Nicola Ghiuselev. In 1999 Durlovski made his debut at the Macedonian National Opera where he was engaged in 2000–02 and appeared as Ferrando (Il trovatore), Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Leporello (Don Giovanni) and Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte).

He made his debut at the Wiener Kammeroper in 2001, the National Opera in Sofia in 2002, the National Opera in Sarajevo in 2004 and at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb in 2006. In 2007–08 he was a member of the Theater Münster and in 2009–11 at the Staatstheater Kassel, where he also took on countertenor roles such as Tolomeo (Giulio Cesare).

Durlovski was artistic director of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet in Skopje for the 2016–17 season.
