Anna Pirozzi was born in Naples and graduated from the ‘G. Verdi’ Conservatory in Milan, attending masterclasses with Daniela Dessi and Mirella Freni, among others. She debuted as Abigail (Nabucco) at the Trentino Opera Festival and made her debut at the Teatro Regio in Turin as Amelia (Un ballo in maschera).

She has sung the role of Tosca at theatres in Asti, Biella, Stresa, Aosta and Sanremo, Leonora in Il trovatore at the Derby Theatre in Milan, the Countess in Le nozze di Figaro at the Superga and Giuseppe Giacosa theatres in Aosta, Desdemona in Verdi’s Otello in Aosta, Biella, Asti and Sanremo, and Aida at the Teatro Cantero in Chiavari and the Teatro Comunale in Carpi.
