Alejandro Córdova was born in Córdoba, Mexico. His unique style is based on his exceptional musicality and technical prowess. Córdova began his studies with Jesus Peña before attending the Faculty of Music of the University of Veracruz where he was under the tutelage of Consuelo Bolio, Massimo Gatta and Alfredo Sánchez. He also studied at the Accademia di chitarra ‘Francisco Tárrega’ in Pordenone with Paolo Pegoraro, and the Conservatory of Music Jacopo Tomadini, Udine, where he was taught by Stefano Viola.

A former member of the Orchestra of Guitars of the office of the secretary of education and culture, formed by Alfonso Moreno, with whom he performed in Russia, Córdova has performed internationally, garnering critical acclaim. He has recorded two albums, the first with John Taylor and the second recorded in Seville for Contrastes Records. He also participates regularly in prestigious festivals and international competitions, winning, among others, first place at the 2017 International Culiacán Guitar Competition.
