The Czech Philharmonic Choir of Brno, founded in 1990, is a regular guest at the most prestigious European festivals and appears on the most distinguished concert stages. Audiences are regularly captivated by its level of professionalism as well as its extraordinary musical feeling.

The choir’s repertoire is equally varied as it is vast. Oratorios and cantatas are and have always been its focal point, but it was recently expanded to include operas of all stylistic epochs.

The choir has performed with all of the Czech, as well as many foreign orchestras and conductors, which include Jiří Bělohlávek, Jakub Hrůša, Zdeněk Mácal, Tomáš Netopil, Libor Pešek, Vladimír Válek, Juraj Valčuha, Marc Albrecht, Marcus Bosch, Dennis Russel Davies, Christoph Eschenbach, Iván Fischer, Lawrence Foster, Enoch zu Guttenberg, Martin Haselböck, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Manfred Honeck, Eliahu Inbal, Marek Janowski, Neeme, Paavo, and Kristian Järvi, Dmitrij Kitajenko, Kurt Masur, Zubin Mehta, Ingo Metzmacher, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Sir Roger Norrington, Jonathan Nott, Sir Simon Rattle, Helmuth Rilling, Michael Tilson Thomas, Walter Weller, Simone Young, and many others.
