A former BBC New Generation Artist, Jennifer Johnston is a graduate of Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music, and the recipient of numerous awards. She is particularly associated with the Bayerische Staatsoper, and has also appeared in leading rôles at the Teatro alla Scala, the Salzburg Festival and the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. She has performed with many of the world’s greatest orchestras including the Cleveland, Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony and Royal Concertgebouw and BBC Symphony. She made her solo recital début at the Wigmore Hall broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
