Greek baritone Dimitris Tiliakos studied at the Athens Conservatory and Hochschule für Musik und Theater München with a Maria Callas Scholarship. He won the Willi Domgraf-Fassbaender Competition, and made his debut as Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Prinzregententheater, Munich. Tiliakos began his career as a member of the Nuremberg state opera, and quickly made a name for himself through a series of guest performances at major international opera houses and concert halls such as the Opéra national de Paris, the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Teatro La Fenice and The Metropolitan Opera. His discography includes award-winning releases on BelAir Classiques, Alpha and Sony Classical.
