Canadian mezzo-soprano Michèle Losier studied at McGill University, Montréal and was a member of San Francisco Opera’s Merola Program, the Opéra de Montréal’s Atelier Lyrique and The Juilliard Opera Center in New York.
Noteworthy appearances include Medea (Charpentier) at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and the Lille Opera; Nicklausse and the Muse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) at Salle Pleyel, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and in Tokyo; Phoebe (Castor et Pollux) at the Opéra-Comique, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and on tour with the Pygmalion Ensemble; Sesto (La clemenza di Tito) at the Wiener Staatsoper and the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie; and Dorabella (Così fan tutte) at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and at the Salzburg Festival.
