Daniel Hällström, baritone, was trained at the Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium as well as the Opera Academy in Copenhagen. In the 2007/2008 season, he was part of the permanent ensemble at Oper Leipzig, where he played parts such as Belcore, Marcello, Papageno and Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia. In 2012/2013, Daniel Hällström sang the Count in Le nozze di Figaro at Den Jyske Opera as well as the Duke of Albany in Reimann’s Lear at Malmö Opera where he later performed the role of Count des Grieux in Massenet’s Manon and Schaunard in La Boheme. In summer 2014 he made his début in the rôle as Mr Ford at Läckö Castle and performed the Father in Hansel and Gretel at Malmö Opera.
